Answers for Your Questions.

  • You should enjoy the company of whoever you choose to spend the day photographing your wedding, admire their eye, and have a sense of their presence. I pride myself on bringing an ease and quiet calm to your wedding day. From my years working on commercial sets, as well as shooting weddings, I have developed a comfort with timelines and shot lists, as well as a dexterity with the various facets of a wedding ceremony. My goal is for the two of you to forget about the camera, enjoy yourselves, let me dissolve into the background, and be thrilled at what you see when I deliver the images.

  • In the months leading up to your wedding, I’ll be in touch with you and your wedding planner, making sure to dot i’s and cross t’s. We’ll have a few conversations about “must have” shots, how you want the day to go, and I can help build out a shot list (or not) so that everything you want to remember from the day will be captured.

  • I’m happy to direct family and formal portraits, and my goal is to have you both comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. My favorite photos are the ones that unfold naturally and look like photos that have always been there.

  • Depending on the scale and scope of your wedding, and how much film we shoot, I’ll have a teaser together within a few weeks, and I deliver my weddings within three months, usually faster. Also, I love shooting mini Polaroids, and you’ll have them within a week.

We can discuss what you’re interested in as far as prints, a book, etc. One thing that is essential to me is delivering something you can hold in your hands.

  • Can I ever. I can pin a boutonniere too. Covering details, fine touches, and making sure everything and everyone looks their best are delightful parts of the day for me.

  • I’m happy shooting either, I usually shoot a mix, and I’ve made heirloom quality images on both media. If you have a preference we can discuss, and if you let me know specific images from my portfolio that you’re drawn to I’m happy to tell you which is which.

  • Your wedding day can be a blur, you have so much to think about, so many people you love all in one place, and the cause for the day is the person you’re standing across from. It can feel like the day is never-ending and over in a snap. I want wedding photos to be reminders of your most cherished moments, and revelatory bits of poetry from an incredible day.
